The parish church in Kirchberg bei Mattighofen is in the village of Siegertshaft in the municipality of Kirchberg bei Mattighofen in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Kunigunde belongs to the dean's office Mattighofen in the diocese of Linz . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection .

history

A church was mentioned in a document in 1143. The inside of the Gothic church was redesigned in Baroque style.

architecture

The single-nave, three-bay nave and the two-bay choir of the same width with a three-eighth end. The Gothic ribs of the vaults were chipped off. The vaults were richly stuccoed by Johann Michael Vierthaler in 1740. The vault was frescoed by Fr. Thaler in 1952. The west tower has a ribbed vault in the tower hall and an onion helmet from 1813. The tower portal has a curtain arch. The Gothic south portal has a rib vaulted porch. The door of the south portal and the door to the sacristy have Gothic fittings.

Furnishing

The high altar from 1660/70 with statues shows pictures by the painter Franz Streussenberger (1860).

The organ with two manuals and ten sounding registers was built in 1894 by Albert Mauracher from Salzburg-Mülln .
