The Roman Catholic Parish Church Landeck-St. Josef Opifex is at the Brugg Field Road 33 in the district Bruggen the community Landeck in Landeck in Tirol . It is consecrated to St. Joseph and belongs to the Deanery of Zams in the Diocese of Innsbruck . The building is a listed building .

history

The church and the parish center were built in exposed concrete between 1960 and 1963 according to plans by the architect Norbert Heltschl . The construction of the Nepomuk Chapel, built in 1806, significantly reduced its importance, which is why it fell into disrepair over time.

Furnishing

The altar consists of an approx. 12 meter high glass concrete wall with unplastered natural stone and since 1982 has had a larger than life wooden cross based on a design by Anton Zangerl . The ambo and door wing were created by August Stimpfl , the font by Norbert Strolz . The Stations of the Cross mosaic is by Herbert Danler , the crucifix by Eugen Krismer and the font by Elmar Kopp . The statue of St. Joseph in front of the church was made by Hans Moritz. The ceramic wall at the kindergarten was designed by Norbert Strolz.
