The Roman Catholic parish church Pennewang is located in Pennewang in the municipality Pennewang in the district of Wels-Land in Upper Austria . The church consecrated to St. Bartholomew belongs to the Deanery Gaspoltshofen in the Diocese of Linz . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection .

architecture

The late Gothic hall church, vaulted with mesh ribs, has a two-aisled three-bay nave and a one-bay choir with a five-eighth end . The western facade tower wears a pointed helmet. The richly crossed south portal has a vaulted vestibule. The organ gallery is two-story.

Furnishing

The late baroque high altar with classicist echoes was built around 1780/1790. The side altars are from the second half of the 18th century. The pulpit was built around 1700. In the south portal vestibule is a late Gothic crucifix from the beginning of the 16th century and was later carved over.

There is a bell from 1750.
