Wilhelm Schöneck

Wilhelm Schöneck (born October 13, 1902 in Ulm , † January 22, 1974 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer . Of 29 September 1952 to the end of 1967 he was President of the Government of the administrative district of Stuttgart in Baden-Wuerttemberg . Schöneck was the first district president of the newly created administrative district of North Württemberg.

Career

Schöneck completed a law degree in Tübingen. He then worked as a legal advisor at insurance companies. From 1934 he worked as a lawyer in Stuttgart. From 1941 to July 1945 he was head of the price monitoring office at the Stuttgart police headquarters. From June 15, 1945 to September 1952, he was director or ministerial advisor at the Württemberg-Baden Ministry of the Interior.

Political activity

He was a member of the SPD.

Others

In 1947 and 1948 he was chairman of Appeals Chamber III in Stuttgart.
