The estate of the St. Peter monastery and the chapel do not reveal anything of their old existence. The chapel houses a high Gothic, partly baroque revised and newly framed figure of the Mother of God with the infant Jesus.

The chapel from 1725 was built in the Rococo style and is dedicated to the Mother of God von Altötting. After a fire in 1834, the chapel was rebuilt and renovated several times over the years.

The original wooden structure was given to the parish from an inheritance. In 1747 it was turned into a brick building, which served as a rectory until it was sold in 1935.

The small, late Gothic church with a two-aisled nave and octagonal choir has a west-facing roof turret and is surrounded by the local cemetery.
