The Roman Catholic parish church of Puchkirchen am Trattberg is located in the municipality of Puchkirchen am Trattberg in the Vöcklabruck district in Upper Austria . The church consecrated to St. James the Elder belongs to the Deanery Schwanenstadt in the Diocese of Linz . The church and the former cemetery area are under monument protection .
history
A church was mentioned in a document in 1480. The Gothic choir has been preserved. The nave and the west tower were rebuilt in 1854. In 1938 the church was restored.
architecture
The Gothic retracted single - bay cross - rib vaulted choir closes with a five-eighth end . The single-nave four-bay nave is vaulted with Prussian caps on belts. The west tower wears a pointed helmet.
Furnishing
The neo-Gothic high altar - late Gothic in the top - has an over-carved statue of St. Jakob around 1500. The two side altars around 1640 show new pictures.
A bell was cast in 1615.
