The Roman Catholic parish church Rannersdorf is located in Rannersdorf in the town of Schwechat in the district of Bruck an der Leitha in Lower Austria . The parish church Herz Mariä belongs to the deanery Schwechat in the vicariate Unter dem Wienerwald of the archdiocese of Vienna .

history

The simple hall church , facing south-west, was built after the Second World War and inaugurated by Cardinal Innitzer on November 28, 1948 . Originally the church only had a bell carrier instead of a tower. In the early 1990s this was replaced by a tower. In the course of this, the Grassmayr bell foundry purchased three new bells and ceremoniously raised a bell from 1934 on June 9, 1991.
