The parish church of St. Ulrich bei Steyr is located in the village of St. Ulrich bei Steyr in the municipality of St. Ulrich bei Steyr in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Ulrich belongs to the Deanery of Steyr in the Diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .

history

The choir was consecrated in 1493. The nave was completed in 1518.

architecture

The single-nave, three-bay late Gothic nave with a spacious impression has a newer barrel vault with mesh ribs from the 19th century. The retracted two-bay rib vaulted choir has a five-eighth end . The nave shows stepped buttresses and tracery windows on the outside. The tower in the northern choir corner was converted into an eight-sided upper floor in 1868 and finished with a pointed helmet. The north and west portal are late Gothic.

Furnishing

The high altar from 1662 was largely redesigned at the end of the 18th century. The rococo-style tabernacle was built in 1660/1670. The side altars are from 1764. The pulpit is from the end of the 17th century. The choir stalls are marked 1618. There are baroque oil paintings from the 17th century. Two oval pictures Erasmus and Florian were painted in the manner of Anton Hitzenthaler the Elder.

There is a bell from 1329.
