Pflugdorf is a district of the municipality of Vilgertshofen in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

geography

The parish village of Pflugdorf is located around two kilometers north of Vilgertshofen , almost directly to the east, adjacent to Stadl im Lechrain .

In Pflugdorf there is the branch church of St. Laurentius , which was built by Lorenz Sappl around 1760. The altarpieces are by Johann Baptist Baader , one of the special features of the church is a Christmas crib by the brothers Lorenz and Johann Luidl from the 17th century.

history

Pflugdorf was built during the early medieval settlement.

A local nobility is mentioned from 1020 to 1333. The Lords of Pflugdorf were ministerials of the Guelphs .

On January 1, 1970, the previously independent municipality was merged with Stadl and incorporated into Vilgertshofen on January 1, 1972.
