Phil Reilly (born May 23, 1968 ) is an Australian pool player .

Career

In July 2002 Phil Reilly was eliminated in the preliminary round of the 9-Ball World Championship , but a few days later he came in 33rd place at the Holland Open of the IBC Tour. In 2003 Reilly was the first time Australian 9-ball champion in the final against Emile Reirra . In the following two years he managed to successfully defend the title. At the 9-ball world championships in 2003 , 2004 and 2005 he was eliminated again in the preliminary round. In July 2005 he was defeated at the World Games in the round of 16 to the Swede Tom Storm with 9:10. In 2010 he won the Australian 9-Ball Championship with a 13:12 win in the final against Ben Nunan . In February 2013, Reilly became Australian 9-ball champion for the fifth time in the final against Robby Foldvari . A year later he managed to successfully defend the title. At the China Open 2014 , Reilly reached the final round, but was eliminated in the sixteenth-finals against Carlo Biado .

In 2014, Reilly and James Georgiadis formed the Australian team at the World Cup of Pool , which was eliminated by Poland in the round of 16.
