Philip Lehr (born June 3, 1993 in Berlin ) is a German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Hannover Indians in the Oberliga since 2019 .

Player career

Philip Lehr learned to play ice hockey with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin. In the 2008/09 season he made his first appearances in the youth league for ECC Preussen Berlin and in the German youth league . In the following season 2009/10 he guarded the gate for the young eagles Mannheim . This season as well as the playoffs he finished with the best goals against goals of all goalkeepers and he was able to celebrate the championship. He finished the 2010/2011 season again with the best goals against goals. On November 19, 2011, Lehr was able to record his first appearance with the professionals in the 3-1 victory of the Heilbronner Falken against the Lausitzer Füchse . This was followed by missions for the Red Devils Bad Nauheim and for FASS Berlin in the Oberliga West and East. In the 2013/2014 season he was back in the enclosure for the Heilbronner Falken. Between 2015 and 2017 he was under contract with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers and was used by the Blue Devils Weiden from the Oberliga Süd with a development license .

Lehr was selected in the USHL Entry Draft in the 19th round in a total of 275th place by the Tri City Storm in 2012 .

In the 2017/18 season he was in the squad of the Füchse Duisburg in the major league .

International

In 2011, Lehr played two games for Germany at the U18 Junior World Championship . He was in the German squad at the U20 World Cup in 2013 , but was not used.
