Philip McGinley

Philip Kiaran McGinley (born June 6, 1981 in Liverpool , England ) is a British actor .

life and career

Philip McGinley was born in 1981 in the English city of Liverpool . He has been an actor since 2003. First he was seen in soap operas such as Casualty or Coronation Street . He has also appeared in television films, including The Deputy and Falling .

From 2012 he gained greater international fame. He was seen in a small role in Prometheus - Dark Signs before he took on the role of the archer Anguy in the third season of the hit television series Game of Thrones in 2013 . With the rest of the cast of the series, he was nominated for the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Award in the category Best Acting Ensemble in a TV Series - Drama . Since then he has taken on other recurring roles in the series No Offence , Drifters and Home Fires .
