No Offense (Engl. For no offense ) is a British crime series , the first time on May 5, 2015 at the transmitter Channel 4 aired. The German first broadcasts took place on ZDFneo, for the third season from December 3, 2018.

Set in Manchester, the series portrays a team of investigators from the fictional Manchester Metropolitan Police , Revier Friday Street, in the hunt for a serial killer (Season 1). Although the team consists of very different and also very idiosyncratic characters, they work very well together. In season 2, the basic theme is organized crime with gang wars, child exploitation and abuse. Possible privatization of police services, right-wing extremist attacks and the everyday danger for the police against the background of upcoming mayoral elections are the main motifs of season 3.

Vivienne Deering
Joanna Scanlan plays the team leader DI Vivienne Deering. Looking eccentric, but extremely capable, she keeps her team back free in any unorthodox approach. She is also by no means satisfied with sitting behind the desk as the manager, but eagerly joins in and does not avoid any crisis.
