Claire Rushbrook
Claire Rushbrook (* 1970 in Hertfordshire , England ) is a British actress .
Life and accomplishments
Rushbrook studied acting at Rose Bruford College . She made her debut in an episode of the 1994 television series Casualty . In Mike Leigh's drama Lies and Secrets (1996) , she played one of the bigger roles alongside Timothy Spall and Brenda Blethyn . In the short film Crocodile Snap (1997) by Joe Wright , she played a woman who tries to leave her abusive husband. The film was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Short Film in 1998 . In the drama Under the Skin (1997), Rushbrook and Samantha Morton played two sisters who suffer from the death of their mother ( Rita Tushingham ).
