Philipp Buettner

Philipp Büttner (* 1991 in Würzburg ) is a German musical performer .

Life

Philipp Büttner grew up with his parents and brother in Rimpar in the Würzburg district. After graduating from high school, he studied musicals at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding from 2010 to 2014 . During his studies and afterwards Büttner appeared as Simon in "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the Gärtnerplatztheater Munich , as Clyde in the German-language premiere of Frank Wildhorn's "Bonnie and Clyde" at the Bielefeld Theater , as Che in "Evita" at the Staatstheater Oldenburg , as Tybald / Envolio in "Romeo and Juliet" at the Thunerseespiele, as Bruno Lubanski in "Das Wunder von Bern", as Tony in "West Side Story" in Magdeburg, as Goethe in the try-out production of "Goethe - Auf Liebe und Tod" in Essen and as Johnny in "American Idiot" in the Batschkapp Frankfurt on stage. Since November 2017 Büttner can be seen as the first cast of Aladdin in the musical of the same name in the Theater Neue Flora in Hamburg and since March 2019 in Stuttgart. In summer 2020, Büttner will play the leading role in the musical Goethe at the Bad Hersfeld Festival.
