Philipp Fraundorffer

Philipp Fraundorffer (born April 30, 1663 in Königswiesen , Upper Austria ; † 1702 in Brno (today: Brno), Czech Republic ) was a Moravian doctor and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Philipp Fraundorffer was born in the market town of Königswiesen in Upper Austria. He was the royal physician provincial in Moravia. Its main place of activity was Brno in Moravia.

On November 30, 1697, Philipp Fraundorffer, nicknamed Herodicus I, was accepted as a member ( registration number 230 ) of the Sacri Romani Imperii Academia Caesareo-Leopoldina Naturae Curiosorum . He belonged to the mathematics section.
