Philipp Gerstner

Philipp Gerstner (born July 11, 1989 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Gerstner was born in 1989 in Berlin-Pankow . At the age of ten he discovered acting for himself. He gained his first experience in the youth theater course at the Carrousel Theater (today: Theater an der Parkaue ). In 2000 he had his first big appearance in the play The Gladow Gang . A year later he played and sang in the Theater am Potsdamer Platz and for the Stella musical Emil and the Detectives . Gerstner began his television career at the age of twelve. At that time he played the leading role of the geek Sven Koslowski in the children's series Schloss Einstein for five years . In 2009 he played in the Sat.1 film Alone Among Schoolchildren . This was followed by other television appearances, in Tatort , in ZDF series such as Notruf Hafenkante or Soko Leipzig , and in ARD feature films. He also moderated programs and events, operates his own YouTube channel and is a DJ .

In addition to his acting career, after graduating from high school, Gerstner trained as a media designer in image and sound at the Berlin-Brandenburg radio station . He works for the station as a video journalist, reporter and author.
