Philipp Grüll

Philipp Grüll (* 1982 in Straubing ) is a German journalist. He is the editor of the ARD political magazine report Munich and the author of TV documentaries for Das Erste , Arte and BR Fernsehen . Together with SZ journalist Frederik Obermaier , he uncovered the Bayern egg scandal in 2015 . He has received several awards for his work.

Life and work

After graduating from Johannes-Turmair-Gymnasium in Straubing , Philipp Grüll studied communication science , political science and law in Munich and Venice. During his studies he worked as a freelance journalist for Bayerischer Rundfunk and Süddeutsche Zeitung , among others . From 2008 to 2010 he volunteered at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Since then he has worked for the broadcaster, Das Erste and Arte as an editor, reporter and film writer.
