Philipp Hettrich

Philipp Hettrich (born May 10, 1900 in Schwebenried , today Arnstein , † December 20, 1973 there ) was a German politician of the CSU .

Hettrich attended elementary school and then took part in the First World War. In 1925 he married and took over his parents' farm. He acted as a speaker for the Raiffeisenkasse Schwebenried. In 1945 he was appointed mayor of his home parish. In addition, he was district chairman at the Bavarian Farmers' Association for eleven years . At the end of 1945 he participated in the founding of the CSU district association Karlstadt, of which he was chairman for many years. He also belonged to the district council. From 1950 to 1966 he held a mandate in the Bavarian state parliament , into which he was always directly elected in the Hammelburg - Karlstadt - Brückenau district. There he was chairman of the agricultural working group of the CSU parliamentary group.
