Philipp Scheiner

Philipp Scheiner (born September 11, 1988 in Waiblingen ) is a German journalist and entertainer .

Career

Scheiner graduated from the Staufer Gymnasium in Waiblingen in 2009 . This was followed by training as a digital and print media clerk and he began studying marketing and media management at the Reinhold Würth University in Künzelsau.

In 2015 he started his radio career at the private, national radio station bigFM in Stuttgart. A year later he became a moderator and editor in the Funkhaus Regensburg for the Bavarian youth broadcaster Radio Galaxy . From January 2018 to September 2019 Scheiner presented his own afternoon program on Regensburg's hit radio station gong fm. At this radio station he has been the content manager and presenter of the morning show "Die Wachmacher" since October 2019.

Scheiner is best known for his musical contributions to current affairs. Above all, the weekly benchmark “Regensburg Rap” on gong fm and “WochenRAPblick” on Radio Galaxy.

Scheiner lives in Regensburg.

Awards

  • 2019: Radio award from the Bavarian State Office for New Media (BLM) in the entertainment and comedy category . The award went to the Radio Galaxy "WochenRAPblick"
  • In 2020, Scheiner is one of the nominees for the Bavarian Radio Prize in the categories "Best Moderation" and "Entertainment and Comedy". The prizes will be awarded at the Media Days in Munich in October.
