Philipp Schuberg, 1907

Philipp Schuberg (born March 31, 1872 in Karlsruhe , † May 27, 1946 in Berlin ) was a German university professor for apparatus engineering and factories in the chemical industry.

Life

Philipp Schuberg studied engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe , where he worked for Hubertia in 1891 . He completed his studies as a Dipl.-Ing. from. In 1905 he came as a lecturer at the Technische Hochschule Berlin , where he taught apparatus construction and factories in the chemical industry until 1938, and since 1907 as a full professor. His chair belonged to Department V for Chemistry and Metallurgy until 1921, from 1922 to Faculty IV for Materials Management, Department of Chemistry, and from 1935 until his retirement in 1938 to Faculty I for General Sciences, Department of Chemistry.

From 1921 to 1922 Schuberg was head of Department V for chemistry and metallurgy and from 1926 to 1927 Dean of Faculty IV for materials management. He was editor of the journal for chemical apparatus science.
