Philipp Simon (born January 10, 1994 in Lendersdorf ) is a German football player .

Career

In 2006, Simon moved from the youth team at 1. FC Köln to the youth department at Alemannia Aachen . There he went through all youth teams up to the A-youth .

In the third division season 2012/13 Simon celebrated his debut in the first team when he came on as a substitute for Sascha Marquet in the 73rd minute of the 2-0 defeat by Wacker Burghausen on March 23, 2013 . Two more missions followed by the end of the season; one from the beginning on the 37th matchday against the second team of VfB Stuttgart . Otherwise, Simon played with the Aachen youth in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga , in two years he completed 48 junior Bundesliga games and scored four goals. In the summer of 2013, the 19-year-old moved to the national division FC Düren-Niederau .

Here he was under contract until the summer of 2014 before moving to FC Bergheim 2000 in the Mittelrheinliga . After Bergheim's relegation in the 2014/2015 season, he left the club. In July 2015, Simon moved to Borussia Freialdenhoven. Here he played a total of 3 years for the club in the Middle Rhine League. In the summer of 2018 he left the club and joined TV Herkenrath, which will be promoted to the Regionalliga West in the 2018/2019 season . There he played 14 regional league games before returning to 1. FC Düren, the successor club of FC Düren-Niederau, during the winter break.
