Sascha Marquet (born November 7, 1989 in Leverkusen ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with TSV Steinbach Haiger since 2015 .

Career

Marquet began his career at VfL Leverkusen , from where he moved to the largest Leverkusen club Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 2007 . There he played in the regional league team until the 2010/11 winter break. Then followed the move to Alemannia Aachen , in whose second team he regularly scored goals. Marquet made his professional debut for the second division team on April 14, 2012 (31st matchday), when he was allowed to start in the away game against MSV Duisburg . With the Alemannia he was relegated to the 3rd division at the end of the season. The following third division season was not very successful either, Marquet was firmly integrated into the professional squad, but he rose with the team in the Regionalliga West. Despite the bankruptcy , he remained loyal to Alemannia Aachen even after the second relegation in a row. For the 2014/15 season, Marquet moved to third division promoted SC Fortuna Köln and from there to the south-west regional division TSV Steinbach . There he became a regular player. Marquet won the Hessen Cup with TSV Steinbach on May 21, 2018 and thus moved into the DFB Cup . In the final against KSV Hessen Kassel (final score 2-0 for Steinbach) he scored the interim 1-0.
