Dennis Wegner (born January 10, 1991 in Greifswald ) is a German football player . He has been playing for TSV Steinbach Haiger since summer 2017 .

Career

Wegner played for Greifswalder SV 04 until December 2008 . On January 1, 2009, he moved to Halleschen FC . From the 2011/12 season he was in the first team's squad. After Halle rose to the third division in 2012, he went to Werder Bremen's second team , for whom he scored 13 goals in 33 appearances in the regional league. For the 2013/14 season Wegner moved to the third division for VfL Osnabrück . After only one year he went to the Regionalliga Südwest for 1. FC Saarbrücken . With the FCS he failed in 2014/15 as runner-up in the promotion games to the 3rd division. For the 2017/18 season , Wegner joined the league competitor TSV Steinbach . Wegner won the Hessen Cup with TSV Steinbach on May 21, 2018, making it into the DFB Cup.
