Tim Paterok (born August 5, 1992 in Paderborn ) is a German football player .

Career

Paterok began his career at SC Grün-Weiß Paderborn , where he first played as a striker . It was only after he switched to SC Paderborn 07 as a C-youth that Paterok was retrained as a goalkeeper . At SC Paderborn 07, Paterok was trained by the former Hungarian national goalkeeper Zsolt Petry , who guided Paterok to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in 2010 . In Hoffenheim, Paterok was mostly the second goalkeeper of the second team that played in the Regionalliga Südwest .

In the summer of 2012, Paterok moved to league rivals Wormatia Worms , where he was promoted to the goalkeeper. The greatest success was the fifth place in the 2014/15 season . In October 2016, Paterok returned to East Westphalia and joined the western regional division SV Rödinghausen . He played there for a year and then moved to third division VfL Osnabrück in the summer of 2017 . For the team from the Bremer Brücke he celebrated his professional debut on March 10, 2018 in the 0-1 defeat at the Würzburger Kickers . Since 2018 he has been a regular goalkeeper for TSV Steinbach Haiger in the Regionalliga Süd-West .
