Michael Schüler (born July 22, 1997 in Adenau ) is a German soccer player . He has been playing for TSV Steinbach Haiger since summer 2019 .

Career

After starting out as a youth at Bayer 04 Leverkusen , he moved to 1. FC Köln's youth department in summer 2012 . After playing one season for their second team, he moved to the Regionalliga Südwest for TuS Koblenz in summer 2017 . After the relegation of Koblenz, he moved to third division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena in summer 2018 . It was there that he made his first professional appearance when he came on for Fabien Tchenkoua in the 69th minute of the game on November 12, 2018, the 15th matchday, in the 3-2 away win against SV Wehen Wiesbaden . At the beginning of August 2019, the players and the club agreed to terminate the contract due to a lack of prospects of match practice.

For the 2019/20 regional league season , the defender signed a two-year contract with TSV Steinbach Haiger , who had already signed his former Jena team-mate Raphael Koczor .
