Philipp Weber (painter)

Philipp Weber (* 1974 in Rostock ) is a German hyper-realistic painter .

Life

Philipp Weber studied painting from 1996 to 2000 at the Kunsthochschule Kassel with Kurt Haug and Rob Scholte. In 1998 he received the Robert Völker Prize from the art college. From 2000 to 2002 he continued his studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin with Wolfgang Petrick and graduated as a master class student .

He had his first exhibition as a freelance artist in 2002 at the Hofmann + Kyrath Gallery, Berlin. The artist has been looked after by the Ulrich Gering Gallery in Frankfurt am Main since 2003 .
