Philipp von Thüngen

Philipp Heinrich Freiherr von Thüngen (born October 8, 1796 in Zeitlofs , † January 27, 1866 in Würzburg ) was a German landowner, district administrator and court official.

Life

Philipp von Thüngen studied at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen . In 1815 he became a member of the Baruthia Corps , in 1817 of the Old Erlangen fraternity and in 1818 again of the Baruthia. After graduating, he became district administrator , hereditary kitchen master of the Duchy of Franconia and Bavarian chamberlain . He was the master of Zeitlofs, Weißenbach and Höllrich . From 1856 to 1859 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Bavarian State Parliament . In 1861 he joined the Reichsrat (Bavaria) .
