Philippe Bussonnet

Philippe Bussonnet (* around 1976 in Belfort ) is a French fusion musician ( electric bass ) who also performed under the names Gëhnohr Dügohnn and Philsub .

Bussonnet, who is a self-taught musician , played as a teenager in a trio with James MacGaw and Daniel Jeand'heur, which was oriented towards rock music and soul as well as jazz. In 1995 he moved to Paris. Maurice Vander brought him in 1996 as a member of Magma , the French cult band des Zeuhl , in which he is still active today. In addition, since the late 1990s he worked with his Magma colleagues Emmanuel Borghi and James MacGaw as well as drummer Daniel Jeand'heur in the retro Zeuhl band One Shot , with which numerous albums were created. He also played in the groups BBI, Madomko, Gaël Horellous NHX, Seven Indies. Together with Christophe Godin, Médéric Collignon and Franck Vaillant he formed the group Wax'In , with singer Sam Kün the band Welcome-X , which released its second album in 2019. He can also be heard on albums by François Thollot, with Gaël Horellous NHX and with Guillaume Perret & The Electric Epic and has also worked with Laurent de Wilde , Alex Tassel, Olivier Temime, Sylvain Beuf , Nicolas Folmer and Eric Le Lann .
