Philippe d'Artois (Conches)

Philippe d'Artois (* 1269 ; † September 11, 1298 ) was lord of Conches-en-Ouche , Mehun-sur-Yèvre , Nonancourt and Domfront . He was the inherited son of Robert II (X 1302), Count of Artois , and the Amicia de Courtenay († 1275).

Philippe d'Artois inherited the dominions of Conches-en-Ouche and Mehun-sur-Yèvre from his mother, and was also lord of Nonancourt and Domfront. In November or December of 1281 he married Blanche de Bretagne (1270-1327), daughter of John II , Duke of Bretagne and Beatrix of England . Your children were:

Philippe d'Artois was so badly wounded on August 20, 1297 at the Battle of Veurne that after more than a year, on September 11, 1298, he died of the consequences. Since he died before his father, he was never Count of Artois.
