Beatrix of England
Beatrix of England (Eng: Beatrice of England ; born June 25, 1242 in Bordeaux ; † March 24, 1275 ) was a daughter of King Henry III. of England and Eleanor of Provence from the Plantagenet dynasty .
She was a month before her father was defeated in the Battle of Taillebourg against King Louis IX. born from France . In 1260 she married the future Duke John II of Brittany († 1305) in Westminster Abbey . With him she took the cross for the Seventh Crusade in 1268 , but whether she took part is unclear, as she is not mentioned in its further course.
