Phurephu Ri

The Phurephu Ri is located in the Central Himalayas in the Tibet Autonomous Region ( People's Republic of China ).

The 6,846  m high glaciated mountain is located in the Nyalam district of the district-free city of Xigazê . The Langtang Ri is 6.37 km south-southeast . The Kangpenqing ( 7281  m ) is located 17.1 km north west. On the eastern flank of Phurephu Ri, the Phurephu Glacier flows in a northerly direction. A ridge leads to the northwest to the neighboring mountain Gangphu Ri Shar ( 6769  m ).
