Physochlaina macrocalyx is a plant type from the genus of Physochlaina in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Physochlaina macrocalyx is a 30 to 60 cm high herbaceous plant . The leaves have an almost spear-shaped or almost triangular base, which occasionally tapers into the rutty petiole . The lateral angles are sometimes extensive. The calyx of the flowers is larger than 6 × 5 mm, tubular, never urn-shaped and not constricted at the top. The crown is colored yellow and has no purple tint. It is bell-shaped and gradually tapers into a tube.
distribution
The species occurs only in the Chinese province of Xizang , but is very rare there.
