Pia Kaiser

Pia Kaiser (born May 26, 1912 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ; † June 7, 1968 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Career

Pia Kaiser came from a silversmith family, her father died in 1915 in the First World War . From 1919 to 1927 she attended the Catholic elementary school in Schwäbisch Gmünd, afterwards she did a commercial apprenticeship in a Gmünder silverware factory and after three years of attending the commercial school passed the final commercial exam. After working for a year as a commercial clerk, she attended the social women's school in Lucerne for two years . From May 1934 Kaiser worked as a commercial clerk at the Allgemeine Gold- und Silberscheideanstalt AG in Pforzheim . She became a union member, and in 1947 became the chairwoman of the company's works councilDr. Walter & Schmitt and admitted to the labor court as a judge in 1952. Since January 1, 1956, she was a judge at the regional labor court . She also held a leading position in the Association of Women Employees.

Pia Kaiser remained unmarried and died in her hometown after a long illness.

Political party

Kaiser had been a member of the CDU since May 1946 and worked there in the state women's committee and in the state social committee.

MPs

On September 17, 1956, Kaiser moved up to the German Bundestag for the CDU member Eugen Maucher via the CDU state list of Baden-Württemberg and retained her mandate until the 1957 federal election . Before that, Kaiser was a member of the municipal council of Schwäbisch Gmünd .
