Pia Ziefle

Pia Ziefle (* 1974 in Laupheim ) is a German writer and blogger . Her topics are migration, biography and identity, and the effects of long past events in family history on current, apparently individual decisions. In addition, she expresses herself in various media on the increasingly frequently discussed controversies and the abuse of market power on the part of Amazon. She has been a member of the PEN Center Germany since 2016 .

Life

Pia Ziefle was born in Laupheim in 1974. After graduating from the Protestant seminar in Maulbronn / Blaubeuren , she completed an apprenticeship as a screen printer and went to Berlin in 1998 to work as a screenwriter for interactive media and games, as well as to teach interactive storytelling in adult education institutions.

She later moved to the vicinity of Tübingen , where she still lives with her family today, and began to write novels.

In 2013 she was a scholarship holder of the Association of German Writers in Baden-Württemberg.

She has been part of the Techniktagebuch author collective since 2014 .
