Pidingerau is a district of Piding in the Berchtesgadener Land district .

The village lies between the Saalach and the Mauthausen district . The demarcation of the two parts is set on Hosemannstrasse and Untersbergstrasse.

The Freilassing – Berchtesgaden railway with the Piding station is located in the district . The B 20 runs between the Staufenbrücke and the Pidingerau , which is also the border between the two parts.
