Piero Coccia (born December 4, 1945 in Ascoli Piceno , Italy ) is Archbishop of Pesaro .

Piero Coccia was ordained a priest for the diocese of Ascoli Piceno on November 25, 1972 . In 2004 he was appointed Archbishop of Pesaro by Pope John Paul II . The episcopal ordination on 24 April 2004. He received his Sergio Cardinal Sebastiani , Prefect of the Prefecture for the Economic Affairs of the Holy See ; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Paolo Romeo , Apostolic Nuncio in Italy, and Silvano Montevecchi , Bishop of Ascoli Piceno.
