Pierre-Philippe Blaser

Pierre-Philippe Blaser (* 1968 ) is a Swiss pastor and has been President of the Synodal Council of the Evangelical Reformed Church in the canton of Friborg since 2012 .

Pierre-Philippe Blaser comes from the canton of Neuchâtel , studied Protestant theology in Brussels and was pastor in the parishes of Châtel-Saint-Denis and Môtier-Vully. He shared both positions with his wife. At the synod of the Freiburg cantonal church on June 4, 2012, he was elected as the successor to Daniel de Roche as President of the Synod Council. He was previously a member of the Synodal Council. On June 18, 2018, he was also elected to the Council of the Evangelical Reformed Church in Switzerland for the 2019-2022 legislature .
