Pierre Délèze
Pierre Délèze (born August 25, 1958 in Nendaz , Canton of Valais ) is a former Swiss athlete .
His special routes were the 1500-meter run and the 5000-meter run . From 1978 to 1981 he was Swiss champion over 1500 meters four times in a row, in 1985 he won his only title over 5000 meters.
Délèze reached sixth place over 1500 meters at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 , and fourth place over 5000 meters at the 1987 World Athletics Championships . He won his only international medal in 1980 at the European Indoor Championships when he was third in the 1500 meters.
He holds the Swiss record over 1500 meters with 3: 31.75 minutes, run on August 21, 1985 in Zurich , as well as the national records over the mile and 2000 meters.
