Pierre Descaves

Pierre Descaves (born October 1, 1924 in Khenchela , Khenchela Province , French Algeria , † May 7, 2014 in Neuilly-sur-Seine , France) was a French politician and member of the terrorist OAS .

Life

He served France during World War II .

During the Algerian war he was a member of the terrorist organization de l'armée secrète (OAS), which rejected Algeria's independence. He joined the Front National in 1983. Between 1986 and 1988 he was an elected MP in the National Assembly to represent Oise . He applied unsuccessfully for the election of the mayor of Noyon in 1995. He sat in the city parliament from 1989 to 2001.

In 2009 he left the Front National and joined the Parti de la France founded by Carl Lang .

He wrote five non-fiction books.

Descaves died in May 2014 at the age of 89 in the American Hospital of Paris in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
