Pierre Falardeau
Pierre Falardeau (born December 28, 1946 in Montreal , † September 25, 2009 ibid) was a Canadian director from the Francophone Canadians .
After studying anthropology , Pierre Falardeau briefly worked as a teacher. In the 1960s he came into contact with the Franco-Canadian independence movement. Most of his numerous films have been based on this theme. He was active throughout his life as a political speaker and activist for the independence of the Canadian province of Québec .
