Pierre Girard (journalist)
Pierre Girard (born November 16, 1982 in Strasbourg ) is a French journalist , presenter and director . He became famous in France and Germany as a journalist and presenter of arte programs.
Life
Girard moderates the Xenius program on arte alongside Dörthe Eickelberg . Together with Tita von Hardenberg , he moderates the TV format Metropolis , a culture magazine. He has been leading the Jazzdor program since 2010 .
Girard also made a name for himself as a filmmaker with the documentary Chroniques d'un Krach , in which he drew parallels between the financial crises of the 1920s and the years 2008 to 2010 .
He also appears regularly as a correspondent for France24 and Liberation . Girard lives with his husband alternately in France and Germany.
