Pierre Nguyên Van Dê SDB (born January 15, 1946 in Tri Buu , Quang Tri Province ) is a Vietnamese religious priest and Roman Catholic bishop .

Life

After taking his first vows as a Salesian of Don Bosco on August 15, 1965 , he studied philosophy in Hong Kong from 1965 to 1968 and theology in Dat Lat , South Vietnam from 1970 to 1974 . He was ordained a priest on December 17, 1973 .

Within the religious community he was novice master, pastor, provincial, director of theology for Salesians. After all, he was a teacher at the Hanoi Grand Seminary .

On November 29, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . as auxiliary bishop in Bùi Chu , North Vietnam, associated with the titular diocese of Ammaedara . The episcopal ordination took place on January 18, 2006. As auxiliary bishop he assisted his Salesian brother Joseph Hoàng Van Tiem . On July 25, 2009, his transfer to the bishop of Thái Binh was announced.
