Pierre Georges Louis Gaston d'Hugues (born November 8, 1873 in Orléans , † August 21, 1961 in Versailles ) was a French fencer .

successes

In 1900, Pierre d'Hugues took part in the Olympic Games in London in individual competitions in foil, epee and saber fencing. His best result was fifth place with the foil. At the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 , he won the bronze medal behind Georges Dillon-Cavanagh and Gustav Casmir in the individual competition with the foil . With the sword and the saber he was eliminated before the final round. With the Degen team he prevailed in the final against Great Britain in two skirmishes and became Olympic champion .
