Pierre du Trésor
The Dolmen Pierre du Trésor is located in the forest of Fougères , in the commune of Landéan in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in France . The Pierre du Trésor is likely a fairly large simple dolmen ( French dolmen simple ) that collapsed. The largest preserved stone is an irregularly shaped capstone about 4.5 m by 2.5 m. In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).
There are several megalithic sites around Fougères . Among other things, the Cordon des Druides , the Pierre Courcoulée complex and the former Rocher Jacquot ensemble, located about two kilometers west of the forest , consisting of two Allée couvertes .
