Pierrick Cros (born March 17, 1992 in Montbrison ) is a French football player .
Club career
Cros started playing football at the Aveizieux village club near Saint-Étienne . His second youth station was a club from Andrézieux-Bouthéon , from where he moved to the youth department of AS Saint-Étienne in 2006 . At Saint-Étienne he trained with the professionals from 2010 and moved up to the professional squad a year later. On September 17, 2011, he made his first division debut in the 3-0 draw against FC Lorient when he was substituted on in the 74th minute. However, this was his only use in the top French league. For the reserve team, however, he ran regularly and held the office of team captain.
In 2012 he was released from his club and was able to move to third division promoted ES Uzès Pont du Gard in August . Even if he became a regular player there, he could not prevent the club from relegating to the fourth division in 2013; only the license withdrawal of several other clubs saved Uzès from it. Nevertheless, Cros left the club in the same year and signed with league competitor Red Star Paris , where he was henceforth usually set as a regular. In 2015 his team achieved promotion to the second highest division. In the second division season 2015/16 he was regularly called up and was part of a surprise team at Red Star, which only just missed the further rise to the top class. In the following year, however, there was relegation to the third division.
National team
In September 2007, Cros was appointed to the French U-16s for two friendly matches against Wales. After not being used in the first game, he made his debut in the national shirt on September 27th in the second game, which ended 2-2. At the EM 2009 he was a member of the U-17 squad , but was not used.
