Pietro Vitalini (born September 29, 1967 ) is a former Italian ski racer .

He specialized in the downhill and Super-G disciplines and was placed on the podium in a World Cup race five times in his career . At the 1997 World Championships in Sestriere , he was seventh in the downhill. In 1988 and 1992 he was Italian downhill champion.

Vitalini attracted international attention at the Hahnenkamm races in Kitzbühel in 1995. He fell on the first of the two runs shortly before the finish, was thrown over the safety fence and rolled over several times outside the ski slope . He was uninjured and a few hours later he started the second descent, where he finished fifth.

After the 1998/99 season , Pietro Vitalini resigned from ski racing.
