Pigeonnier de Laguille

The Pigeonnier de Laguille (German: Taubenturm von Laguille) stands on a rock face above the Alzou River , which is south of Rocamadour , a French commune in the Lot department in the Occitania region . The round tower made of quarry stone cannot be dated, the typical local construction was used from the 16th to 19th centuries. The execution of the cornice suggests an early date, possibly to the 16th century.

The pigeon tower has been on the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique since 1998 .
