The peak Sarja Vostoka ( Russian Пик Заря Востока , "summit of the dawn of the east") is a mountain in the Transalai Mountains . He is mostly referred to as Zarya Vostoka on maps and in literature .

location

The 6349  m high glaciated mountain is located in the eastern part of the Transalai mountain range on the border between Kyrgyzstan and the People's Republic of China and is one of the most striking mountain figures in the chain when viewed from the north. The Zarya Vostoka peak was the three-country summit between Tajikistan , Kyrgyzstan and the People's Republic of China until the border shift in 2011 . The Kurumdy Peak is located 7.65 km west-southwest. The dominance reference is the Kurumdy Ost I, a 6384  m high eastern secondary peak of the Kurumdy Peak, which is 4.77 km west-southwest of the Sarja Wostoka Peak.

The first ascent and crossing was carried out in 2000 by Alexander Novik and Natalya Zotova from the northeast
