The Pikuj ( Ukrainian Пікуй , Russian Пикуй Pikui ) is the highest mountain in Lviv Oblast and the (east) Bieszczady in the Ukrainian Forest Carpathians with a height of 1408  m .

View from the M 06 / E 50 to the Pikuj

Pikuj is located in the south of Lviv Oblast ( Turka Raion ) on the border with Transcarpathia Oblast ( Wolowez Raion ). Its slopes are covered with beech forests. From the summit, on which there is a 5 meter high concrete stele, you have a panoramic view of several famous Karparten mountains.
